Will this be the new tallest on Bayshore? I can already hear the nimby'due south typical complaints..increased traffic & buildings may be out of graphic symbol with the neighborhood.

it isn't about nibmys.. Building looks swell from initial plans. BTW, information technology is about roads and another loftier rise that is across Bay to bay. Nosotros have no street improvements. None at all. There needs to be another cross road to bayshore other than bay to bay. Fix the roads when you add residences. The Cross town/Selmon slices the city with crappy access.

Aquatica seems finished btw.

Yep, new tallest. (beats Virage by xi feet)

Regarding traffic, in that location'southward no statement here. This is roughly the aforementioned number of units every bit Bay Oaks.

I didn't think near the units/people. Y'all are correct. Simply the rents were in the $1,200 range. Many could afford that alone and with a room mate. Now information technology is all $million plus.

Sorry, I will take the apt everyday over this crap that just a few can afford. Damn, you put that front and centre. Call back about it, nobody can afford to have an apt on or almost Bayshore. This is non NY, Chicago, or Philly.

Anybody tin can afford information technology, you just need to determine it is what you lot want and get there....you brand is sound like those who can were only born rich....

In that location's currently a 644 sf condo in Bayshore Blvd for $108k and in that location's usually a few others that go for under $170k. With 20% down, payment is under 600 (excl. condo fee). I would say most people can afford that. And if renting is your game, I'one thousand sure there are also affordable options on and around the Blvd.

I experience similar if the projection did have retail and was redone in a midtown concept it could open upwards a whole new district on bayhsore. With the bay in front the area would be a hotspot! I always felt like bayshore was only a big missed opportunity for a bay side pedestrian district, this could in a manner fix that.

^I don't remember it needs a lot of retail, it just needs some fronting the Bay to Bay stretch to activate it and contribute to that pocket at Bayshore/MacDill/Bay to Bay.

Enough for two-iv businesses would be enough. Possibly 5-8k sqft worth that's streetscaped nicely.

Its very similar to what they did at Icon Bay in Miami. Nice product for TPA standards.

Ok, what'southward the point simply I estimate I will give it a go.. i alive in Palma Ceia and own my house. I was merely trying to say they are knocking everything down and pricing most people out...... So **** it.. Brian made me realize I can make it if I endeavour. Prices are crazy here. A 1600 three/2 just sold for $550k on my street then I guess that is expert. Some other near $600k. AND A tear down sold for $435k two houses down. You can obviously figure out where I alive with merely that info.

It doesn't change the fact that most immature families can't afford to purchase a new $900k house or a Meg plus condo. I don't recollect most can afford the $550k price range let alone previously mentioned $900k. So yes A 600 sqft apt at that price is awesome merely it is not going to work for a couple with a kid. That was my stance.

Still need to work on that positive attitude... Seriously though, we all don't have the right to what we want but certainly have the opportunity to take it. I am glad to see some growth in our Tampa Bay market both as an investor and home owner. Personally, I would advise there are some great opportunities in the local market, places in transition to buy into now....

I don't buy into the majority is poor, when you lot become down the coastline in Pinellas, y'all come across nothing but boats... seas of boats, expensive luxury condos... people are not destitute....many people don't put the effort to afford expensive homes and things and that'southward ok. Nearly probably don't aspire to. You can be upset about the current rise costs, it not personal. Good luck out there.
