Easy Classes at Montgomery County Community College

Manchester Community College is a community college in Manchester, Connecticut. It was founded in 1963 and has graduated more than 23,000 students since the first class in 1965. If you're attending college here, check out these ten easy classes to boost your GPA!

1. EAS 106 - Natural Disasters

Although you wouldn't want to experience it in real life, it's really interesting to learn about where Mother Nature goes wrong. This course gives an introduction to the causes, occurrence and consequences of natural disasters. 2. BIO 120 - Immunity and Human Disease

This special class is offered in the summer session, so you can take it without interfering in your regular schedule. The course examines diseases caused by the homeostatic imbalance of the immune system and its effects. 3. CHE 111 - Concepts of Chemistry

If you're looking to fill the Knowledge of Physical & Natural Sciences general education requirement, this course may be for you. The class is designed for students with no chemistry experience and is four credits. 4. BBG 101 - Introduction to Business

If you might go into business or start your own company, this introductory class will be a good guideline. The course goes over several major business topics such as management, marketing, finance, computer science, organizational behavior, production. 5. LGL 103 - Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility

If you just need another credit or two for the semester, this one credit course may interest you. The class gives an introduction to the paralegal profession and the basic ethical principles which regulate those working in law, with emphasis on how the rules affect paralegals. 6. ACC 115 - Financial Accounting

No matter what you do in life, it's important to be knowledgeable about your finances. This class discusses the theory and practice of accounting applicable to the accumulation, external reporting, and external uses of financial accounting information. 7. MUS 148 - Beginning Piano

If you've ever wanted to pick up piano, this class is for you. The course is designed for non music majors and gives an introduction to piano! 8. PHY 110 - Introductory Physics

This stand alone physics course is designed for students simply filling the physics requirement. The class is four credits and gives an introduction to the physics of motion, heat, sound, electricity, magnetism, light, optics and the theory of the atom. Intended for non-science majors. 9. ART 107 - Introduction to Studio Art

10. SGN 101 - Sign Language I

American Sign Language (ASL) is the sign language most deaf people use when communicating among themselves. Fun to learn and also a skill any deaf person would appreciate, this three credit class is offered year round.
